April 21, 2010 - PRLog -- The UK’s leading daily city deal website www.Groupola.com has today revealed that Simon Cowell is the celebrity man that most women would sleep with, but shouldn’t.

Of those polled, 64%, said that they would most like to sleep with X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent judge Simon Cowell. Over half of those who said that they wanted to spend the night with Cowell said that they found his power attractive.

Gavin and Stacey star James Corden came in second with 61% of the vote, with 1 in 4 saying that they thought he would make them laugh. Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond came in third and fourth place respectively.

The President of America, Barack Obama came in at number seven with 47% of 1,264 women quizzed saying that he would be their ‘shouldn’t but would’.

The top ten men voted the most desirable - when they shouldn’t be – are:

1.   Simon Cowell – 64%
2.   James Corden – 61%
3.   Jeremy Clarkson – 57%
4.   Richard Hammond – 53%
5.   Gordon Ramsay – 52%
6.   Phillip Schofield – 49%
7.   Barack Obama – 47%
8.   Ricky Gervais – 45%
9.   Alan Rickman – 43%
10.   Justin Bieber – 39%

Of the 61% who didn’t choose Justin Bieber as their “shouldn’t, but would” over half said that they didn’t know who he was, whilst a quarter said that the 16 year old was too young.

The most popular choice amongst the 566 men surveyed revealed Sarah Palin to be the top choice with 3 in 4 men saying that she was the women they would most like to sleep with ‘but shouldn’t’.

Mark Pearson, Managing Director of Groupola.com said;

“The whole question of “shouldn’t - but would” came up after a fan on a social media channel asked it and we thought it was an interesting concept. When we actually put the question to the women we were surprised by how many women fancied men without actually being able to put their finger on the reason why.”

He continued;

“I think the general consensus is that men like Barack Obama and Simon Cowell are attractive to women because they are so powerful, Ricky Gervais and James Corden were more suitable for the women who wanted a laugh. “
