1st Act. The Banjo Consorsium - The Banjo Consorsium began in 2005 as a studio project led by multi-instrumentalist Japh. Born in a musician family (his father a jazz guitarist and mother a singer and pianist), he started playing music when he was 5 years old, learning both cello and piano. From punk to folk, prog, techno and electronica, his taste for different genres combine in this neo-folk electronic mix.
2nd Act. Folk Rock artist Don Amero has a long overdue date with Montreal fans. His debut album 'Change Your Life' garnered a #1 spot on the national aboriginal countdown and was also nominated for 7 Aboriginal Peoples Choice Music Awards (APCMAs). His latest album ‘Deepening’
3rd Act. SuLE, whose infrequent hometown appearances are legend, is a force to be reckoned with. His latest album ‘Alive’ has been getting international attention and has been turning industry heads. Although mainly Rock, rich undertones ranging from Soul to Blues and Funk to Jazz have been masterfully weaved into a coherent style unique to him. He and his band, which boasts some of the most dedicated and talented musicians around, put on a vibrant, dynamic and intense show.
