Columbia, Maryland April 20, 2010 – Lasting Light Yoga and Reiki, a Columbia-based holistic company, launches Reiki workshops as a part of their out reach efforts to spread complimentary and holistic medical services.
Reiki is a healing arts practice. Reiki restores the balance between the physical, emotional, spiritual and mental levels for all living beings, enabling the body to do what it does best: heal itself. Contrary to incorrect information out there Reiki is not a religion or a set of beliefs or many other things; it is a holistic healing practice. Reiki is very effective in combating everyday stress as well as physical and emotional states. Imagine if you could take a simple one-day workshop and be able to then treat yourself everyday in order to reduce the stress in your life. What if I then told you that you could do the same for your loved ones and even pets! Who doesn’t have an anxious child, pet or loved one that couldn’t use some T.L.C. in their lives? What if I then told you that you would have this ability your entire life, it never wears off or needs to be recharged? Does this sound too good to be true? Well it isn’t it is called Reiki.
Lasting Light Yoga & Reiki is offering Level I Usui Reiki Workshops on May 16th at Coreworks Fitness & 22nd at the Yoga Center of Columbia and a Level II Usui Workshop on June 19th at the Center for Embodied Consciousness in Columbia, MD or see the web site for additional details.
Lasting Light Yoga & Reiki is also available for free discussions of Reiki or Yoga at your organization or group.
