RALEIGH, N.C. (April 20, 2010) – Master Jeweler Patrick Dobbs has joined the Bailey’s Fine Jewelry Repair and Design Department. Dobbs is the eighth master jeweler to be added to the Repair Department’s staff.
“He’s a world-class designer with amazing proven talent,” said Trey Bailey, director of operations for Bailey’s Fine Jewelry. “Bringing him to Bailey’s is another way we’re showing our commitment to top quality design and repair.”
Dobbs, a native of Texas and a graduate of the Texas Institute of Jewelry Technology, began his career working in a silver shop hand making championship rodeo belt buckles. He has since worked in custom-design studios, and broadened his skills to include antique reproductions and restorations. His talent is distinguished by six CARAT (Creative Achievement Recognizing Arkansas Talent) awards, for design excellence and craftsmanship.
