By: Tia Hagnas Alley Cats and Angels of North Carolina is holding a yard sale on Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at 7916 Harps Mill Boulevard, Raleigh, North Carolina. The money raised from this event will provide funds for vet care and medical supplies for the cats in our programs. Alley Cats and Angels needs to raise at least $1,500 at the yard sale. We have over 25 kittens under 8 weeks old in our care who need to be spayed/neutered and vaccinated and we have a 2-week old kitten who had emergency eye surgery on Saturday, April 18, less than 48-hours after her rescue. In addition, Zammie, an adult cat with Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, has required multiple vet visits ending with surgery and his vet bills alone are over $600. # # # Alley Cats and Angels (AC&A) is a 501(c)(3), non-profit, all volunteer, foster home based, cat rescue dedicated to improving the lives of the stray, abandoned, and feral cats and the overall reduction of homeless cats in the Triangle through our adoption program, barn cat program, and Alter and Alley Cat spay/neuter assistance program.
