Follow on Google News | Stevens-Henager College to Offer GED Tutoring at Provo Campus at no chargeStevens-Henager College has announced its decision to conduct General Educational Development or (GED) tutoring for no charge at its Provo/Orem campus in Utah.
By: Stevens-Henager College The GED tutoring program is likely to benefit those who want to tap the immense employment opportunities in Provo/Orem or anywhere else in the country, but don’t meet the eligibility criteria for college education because they couldn’t go to high school. Students are required to meet with an Admissions Consultant at Stevens-Henager College, who will go through the admissions process and ensure that the program fits the students’ requirements. Students will then be given a pre-test to gauge the areas that need focused tutoring. Once the program starts, students will continue to remain in tutoring until they are prepared to take the test. In fact, since different individuals have a different pace of learning, the college has decided not to set any timeframe for students to complete the program. Stevens-Henager College also allows the students to work out their own schedule for the program. They are free to come in for tutoring according to their own convenience, and the GED coordinators will be available to work with them accordingly. Students need to finish the entire admissions process and commit to attending Stevens-Henager College before they can take their GED. Stevens-Henager College will arrange for them to take the test at a nearby center, and all students will be required to take the test at the same center. By offering GED tutoring to college aspirants, Stevens-Henager College has opened the gateway to a higher education and a better quality of life for those who could not attend high school.
