Tradeteam Wins Anheuser-Busch InBev UK Primary Logistics Contract

April 19, 2010 - PRLog -- The UK’s number one drinks logistics provider Tradeteam has announced a three-year deal with AB InBev UK.

Under the terms of the primary distribution contract, Tradeteam will be responsible for delivering packaged kegs, bottles and cases of well-known AB InBev UK brands including Beck’s, Budweiser and Stella Artois from AB InBev UK breweries in Magor (South Wales) and Samlesbury (Lancashire) to distribution centres and customers throughout the UK.

These products will be distributed by Tradeteam’s 44-tonne vehicles, a selection of third party haulage partners and supported by parent company DHL’s consumer fleet.

It is anticipated that over sixty employees are to transfer from AB InBev UK operations in Magor and Samlesbury to Tradeteam under TUPE and a number of new positions have been created at Tradeteam’s Burton distribution centre and within DHL.
