Join AAREP (African American Real Estate Professionals)
What is Renewable Energy? Renewable energy comes from naturally replenished resources such as sunlight, wind, rain, tides, and geothermal heat. And, as growing concerns for climate change, high oil prices, and peak oil increase, the development of renewable energy legislation, incentives, and commercialization are all key drivers behind the renewable energy movement in the U.S.
Presenters include Anne Crowley of the U.S. Department of Energy, Federal Energy Management Program and Sam Rust of Astrum Solar. They will inform and enlighten participants of the U.S. federal government's commitment to enhancing the nation's energy and environmental stewardship. Participants will learn the advantages to becoming a renewable energy contractor and the benefits of implementing renewable energy practices within your business.
AAREP is a membership organization founded in 1995 with a network of over 800+ professionals involved in some aspect of commercial real estate. AAREP’s mission is, “To lead in the intellectual, professional and economic development of African American real estate professionals.”
