Paul Cochrane, the founder of the IAQ industry’s only dedicated marketing and public relations firm, Cochrane & Associates, will be presenting creative and cost effective marketing techniques to members of the Philadelphia Chapter of the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) later this week.
The presentation will take place in Radnor, Pennsylvania and Mr. Cochrane will be joined by several other presenters whose topics will be covering the new EPA guidelines for lead and mold remediation and the revisions to the IICRC S520.
Topics from Mr. Cochrane’s presentation will include how to enhance a company’s marketing and public relations utilizing new technologies such as social media, online videos, internet marketing and ways to increase search engine optimization. Traditional marketing methods such as direct mail, print advertising and tradeshow participation and methods to maximize returns will also be discussed.
Many industry professionals know Mr. Cochrane from his years as a vice president at Aerotech Laboratories, Inc. Through the use of creative and strategic marketing initiatives he was able to help grow Aerotech from 9 employees to over 330 in just 4 years to position the company for sale in 2004 to a strategic European buyer. During the past 4 years he has presided over Cochrane & Associates and recently launched the IAQ Video Network, which can be found at http://www.IAQTV.com.
“I’m looking forward to participating at the Philadelphia Chapter’s first meeting for 2010,” reported Paul Cochrane. “Marketing an IAQ business has changed in many ways in recent years due to innovations in technologies. Recent challenges, due to the economy, have caused companies to embrace these new technologies and be think outside the box. I hope to share some of my insight into what companies can be doing to help make them more successful,”
In addition to the upcoming IAQA Philadelphia Chapter presentation, Mr. Cochrane will be giving presentations on similar topics at the May 11th Phoenix IAQA Chapter Meeting, May 14th Houston IAQA Chapter Meeting and the May 27th Hawaii Chapter Meeting. A number of other chapters have expressed interest in having Mr. Cochrane speak at their future gatherings.
