South Bend, IN – A new site has been launched at myrenovatedlife.com to allow Christians around the world to honor God and to share their experiences with the world. In addition to providing the ability for sharing, the site also has a daily devotional section where site visitors can dig deeper into the Word. The site was called myrenovatedlife.com as they believe that we are constantly in the process of being renovated. To renovate means to restore to a former better state.
Rick Harris, a Liberty University graduate and owner of myrenovatedlife.com, explains, “The original intent was for us to be in relationship with God, however, by our choices we live apart from God and His will. God’s desire is to restore, or renovate, our lives through a relationship with Him.” He continues, “Christians around the world have made the choice to allow God to renovate their lives. This is a growing process that does not happen overnight. It begins with accepting God’s plan for our lives, and ends with us joining Christ in heaven.” He believes that each one of these steps of growth along the path is a story from which every Christian can learn.
Harris graduated from Liberty University in 2009 with a Bachelor of Science in Religion. In addition, he has worked in a church as a communications specialist for fours and served as a semester missionary for the North American Missions Board for a year at Indiana University South Bend. The past year Harris has been developing an internet marketing business, and has long wanted to combine his understanding of the online community with his passion for ministry. He hopes this site will allow him to move back into full-time ministry through support of the site by visitors. Those interested in helping to support Harris in his ministry goals can contact him through the site or by clicking the support the site link on the homepage. Churches can also list their organization on the site for $60 per year.
