About Our Puzzles:
Puzzles from Images-n-Stuff are printed using a high-quality photographic silver-halide process (RA4) onto a 10x14 inch sheet of matte-surface photographic paper. These photo printers are tested and calibrated daily to maintain precise color and density control, ensuring consistent quality and color reproduction.
This photo print is then bonded to a puzzle board and precisely die-cut into 252 pieces. At the same time, another 5x7 inch photo print is made for the top of the box, matching the puzzle color and aspect ratio exactly.

Most photo puzzles are made using precut puzzle blanks with a coating on them (called a sublimation coating) that accept an inkjet image transferred from a paper sheet using heat. Color reproduction and saturation on sublimated puzzles is difficult and inconsistent at best. Many of these puzzles are also packaged in tins that also use a sublimation surface, making it impossible to match the color on the puzzle since the surfaces are different. And finally, the aspect ratio (the proportion of one side to the other) of the tin and puzzle don’t match, making the product presentation even worse.
