Pow Wow Comedy Jam Returns To Spokane May 29

April 16, 2010 - PRLog -- Pow Wow Comedy Jam kicks off their  Spring 2010 Northwest tour with  a rare comedy club appearance in  Spokane.  Tickets are now available for their Thursday April 29 8pm show at Uncle D's Comedy Underground inside Bluz at the Bend.  This will be the group's second appearance at Uncle D's.  

"We had a great crowd last time and expect another sell out." says group co-founder, Marc Yaffee.  In addition to their Entertainer of the Year honors, Pow Wow Comedy Jam has been featured on the Showtime comedy special, Goin' Native: The American Indian Comedy Slam.  The special has been airing since New Year's Eve and will be coming out on dvd later this year.

Appearing from Pow Wow Comedy Jam will be Jim Ruel (Bay Mills Ojibwe), Marc Yaffee (Aztec/Navajo) and Spokane's own, Vaughn Eaglebear (Colville/Lakota).    Also appearing on the show will be local comedian Lux (Boom Boom ) Devereaux (Blackfeet).
