TV Host John Bathke Joins Presenters At New York Emmys®

April 16, 2010 - PRLog -- Bathke hosts and produces the arts and entertainment television magazine show "ON THE SCENE." The program, shot entirely on location and airing on News 12 New Jersey, includes interviews with entertainers (Tony Bennett, Joan Rivers and Chris Botti have been recent guests) and stories giving the audience an inside look at the creative process.

"ON THE SCENE" is also nominated for two Emmys for segments featuring artists who have triumphed over physical setbacks. "An Artistic Vision" follows artist Bojana Coklyat as she rediscovers how to paint after going nearly blind. "GIMP" documents choreographer Heidi Latsky's troupe of able bodied and disabled performers who tackle stereotypes about body image and disability.

Bathke is the recipient of two previous Emmy Awards and a ten-time nominee.
