Popular North San Diego Coast Resort Gets a Face Lift

The process started on April 11th and involves upgrading the 61 hotel rooms, 2 meeting rooms along with the 132 vacation ownership condos.

With the changes Carlsbad Inn Beach Resort Hotel will offers a boutique feel and a Premier Level, targeting the VIP and corporate guests that include expanded bathrooms with marble vanities, marble walk-in showers and offers amenities such as iHome docking station, flat screen television, individual coffee brewer and plush robes. The choice of color palette keeps with the beach theme of the resort with ocean hues of coral and sea foam.

A major focus of the renovation is to open up the view from the resort’s lobby & library to the properties focal point, the courtyard, and on to the Pacific Ocean. This project will involve glassing off the pool area and exterior wall of the property while enhancing the flow of the walkways and gathering spots.

The General Manager of nearly 21 years, Randal Chapin, will oversee the endeavor and states “The charm of the Carlsbad Inn keeps people returning with their families in some cases for four generations.
