The Top 3 Pool Cues Under $100

We have put together our best cue under $100 dollars based on performance.

PRLog - Apr. 14, 2010 - Here are the top three pool cues under a hundred dollars.
When choosing a pool cue there are a couple things to consider right away.   First what is your skill level?   Are you a new, intermediate or an advanced pool player. Once you have decided that, take a look below & see what information you can use to improve your pool game & help your decision in buying a pool cue.

In the 30 -$100 dollar range there are a lot available.   The reason we recommend a lower price range cue is,  because as you get better your taste will change & you will have a better understanding of what you will need.  We suggest a cue with a linen wrap for a better grip & a 13 millimeter tip that is more forgiving than the smaller 12.75 millimeter and lower cue diameter.   Also,  if you leave your cue in the car,  you may want to try a composite cue which will provide you with a non-warp shaft due to extreme heat & cold temperatures. The weight of the cue can be important but,  for now we recommend starting off with a 19-20oz.   Generally a heavier cue will cause arm fatigue when you play  and takes away some controlor practice for long periods of time.  We have provided  some pool cue suggestions that we feel will  suit a new or casual pool players needs.

The first pool cue we have reviewed is the rage red diamond cue this is the least expensive of the three we will be reviewing. This pool cue has great playability and great looks. Its made the butt and shaft are made of natural maple wood with a linen wrap that will give you that great feel and also has a anti crack heavy duty fiber ferrule. At a price of 35.19 it comes with free shipping and a free soft case.

The 2nd pool cue is a player's pool cue. This Players pool cue with a black stained maple forearm and butt. Wrap is black & cream faux snake wrap. Also comes with a LePro tip for maximum ball control and a high impact ferrule. Premium finishes protecting against scratching and fading. This cue is only 61.99 and also comes with free shipping and a free soft case.

The 3rd cue is our favorite Its player new HXT30! Technology pool cues. This HX Low Deflection Technology cue features birds-eye maple, black and turquoise 4 points. Its shaft features a proprietary deflection absorbing core that drastically reduces deflection when your cue hits the ball for increased power and unsurpassed accuracy. Instantly makes your shot more accurate by eliminating the learning curve of English and side spin. This cue will have you playing like the Pro's. Has a Irish linen wrap and has a Birdseye maple shaft and butt. http://www.poolcuewarehouse.com price is 79.99 also comes with Free shipping and a free soft case. here is a link for this cue

Pool Cue Warehouse hopes this helps you with your new pool cue choice. We continue to provide the best products we can at the best prices. We would like to thank all of our supporting customers for their continued support.

A lot of times instead of buying a new pool cue u can do upgrades to your old cue for a lot cheaper.
When considering if you are going to buy a new pool cue take a look at your old one if you paid more $150 for your old cue you may want to consider buying upgrades instead of buying an new cue, if the butt of the cue is in good condition still and you are happy with the way it looks than upgrading is the way to go also because you are used to the weight and feel.
The first and most inexpensive upgrade is just getting a new tip this can add some performance enhancements including better spin and a softer feel we recommend a medium tip  & it only cost around 20 - 30 dollars to do .

The next thing that you should consider adding is a new shaft to your pool cue we carry ob-1 shafts, universal shafts and predator shaft which is our favorite. You can get a shaft with a matching collar for your cue and joint pin from most of these manufacturers & can run you from 150 -300 dollars. This upgrade will give you more control more power and increased accuracy, most of these cue shafts are low deflection which when you ad English to the cue ball it keep the cue ball path online.

This is the best way to save some money while getting increased performance from you old pool cue.
