SIRIUS XM Radio Inc.  closed the day as the heaviest traded stock on the NASDAQ moving significantly high on volume, trading the day between 1.00 to 1.09, at 1.071.  SIRIUS hit a 52 week-high in February 2010 of 1.18.  It’s shares slowly retracted after that but have been making a steady come back and closed up 11.41%.  SIRIUS announced that it has added 171,441 net subscribers in the first quarter of this year, which is significant compared to a decline in subscriber base of 404,422 in the first quarter of 2009.  In total SIRIUS now accounts for 18,944,199 subscribers, which is an increase of 344,765 over the year ago quarter.  SIRIUS also confirmed that gross additions increased by 29% and deactivations lessened by 11% compared to the first quarter of 2009.  

YRC Worldwide Inc. , is a transportation company offering global, national and regional transportation as well as logistics.  The company operates under two subsidiaries the YRC National Transportation and YRC Regional Transportation.  YRC Worldwide released the first quarter   information and it will hold their first quarter earnings conference call on May 4, 2010.  YRC reported that for YRC National shipments per work day totalled 42,700 and for YRC Regional they totalled 33,700.  Shares of YRCW traded in the range of 0.55 to 0.60, closing at 0.588, up 1.98% on heavy volume.  

Rentech Inc.  provides clean energy solutions.  The company is working on providing clean energy solutions through its biomas glasification technology aimed at producing synthetic fuels and chemicals, natural gas substitutes and electric power from renewable and fossil feedstocks.  Rentech Inc. announced that it is sponsoring the first green mission NASCAR team which will reach an audience of over 75 million.  Rentech also announced that it will hold its fiscal 2010 second quarter conference call on May 7, 2010, at which time company’s management will review its financial results and provide an update on corporate developments.  Shares of RTK closed today at $1.09, up 6.86% or 0.07.
