Utah Onions, Inc. To Launch Re-designed Website, www.utahonions.com

April 14, 2010 - PRLog -- Utah Onion Inc., one of the largest grower-shippers of onions in North America, is launching a newly re-designed, customer-focused website this month. The site is slated for re-launch on April 26th, 2010.It is a direct response to the company’s on-going dedication to serving the wants and needs of its customer base.

Retail, wholesale and foodservice professionals can find information about the specific onions the company offers, when they are available and where they are grown. Customers can also fill out an interactive form for ordering and sales information.

“The site explains in a visually appealing way how we are a one-stop-shop for all of our customers onion needs.  Produce professionals are able to come to www.utahonions.com  and obtain information they need about our onions. Catering to its customers is nothing new to Utah Onions. Its business strategies have been centered on exceeding customer expectations since its humble beginnings.  
The company was first formed by Charles H. Dredge who took on the responsibility of packaging and selling onions and various other produce for a group of local Utah farmers.

In 1977, Dredge sold the company to four Utah farmers, who changed the name to Utah Onions, Inc. and specialized in the growing and shipping of yellow, red, and white onions.

In 2005, the company was again sold to current owners Shawn Hartley, Trent Hartley and Brad Dahl, each with their own roots in the produce and farming world. The three expanded the business adding growers across the Northwest.

Today, Utah Onions is one of the nation’s leading grower-packager-shippers of quality red, yellow, white and sweet onions. The company has growing locations in Prosser & Granger, Washington, Syracuse & Corinne, Utah and Nyssa, Oregon that together, in the 2010 shipping year, will deliver approximately 5,000,000 bags of onions per year.
