April 14, 2010 - PRLog -- As a training organization that specialize in continued education, it is important that APSI continue to lead, educate, mentor and serve its community.  The executive leadership at APSI strongly believe that supporting children and adults for achieving academic or professional goals set the tone for a life-long “can do it” attitude.

This year, APSI has made a commitment to reaching out in communities and acknowledging individuals for their academic and professional achievements.  APSI’s Youth Achievement Award will highlight special achievements in service, leadership and academics by youth in the community.  The adults will have the opportunity to participate in the Mike Minter Workforce Development Program Scholarship which recipients receive tuition assistance for training in new high demand employment markets such as Broadband, Fiber Optics, Customer Service and Alternative Energy.

YOUTH AWARD: This month, APSI’s Youth Achievement Award goes to Victoria Coulter.  Victoria Coulter is being recognized for becoming a first time inductee to the National Junior Honor Society.  Selection for membership to this prestigious association is based on outstanding scholarship, leadership, service, character and citizenship.  Victoria is a 7th grader at Community House Middle School which is one of 4 North Carolina Honor School of Excellence with Growth!  Congratulations Victoria!

ADULT AWARD: APSI’s Adult Student of the month is Brandon Ewell.  Brandon received the Mike Minter Workforce Development Program Broadband Scholarship.  Brandon attended the APSI Fiber Optic Association (FOA) course in Charlotte, NC and successfully completed the program earning “TWO” nationally recognized credentials.  Brandon was recognized as one of the program top students and has since received employment with a local technology firm.  Brandon will be working on a major broadband project which will provide him the opportunity to showcase his new expertise in Fiber Optics, Cabling and Electronics.  Nice job Brandon!  We are so happy for you and your family.

Each month APSI will identify a child and adult to highlight for their accomplishments in academics or professional career development.  If you are interested in hearing more about APSI and its many programs, contact us at 877-355-APSI or training@apsicorp.com.
