Military Appreciation Day Charity Event to Benefit the Wounded Warrior Project

April 14, 2010 - PRLog -- Wilmington, NC  April 14, 2010 – On Armed Forces Day, May 15th, National Speed will host the 2nd Annual M.A.D. Mayhem Dyno Event from 11 a.m. till 7 p.m.  The event will be held at National Speed’s Wilmington facility at 6779 Gordon Road, and will honor our servicemen and women.  All proceeds will be donated to The Wounded Warrior Project.

National Speed hosts several dyno (short for dynometer, or a tool to measure a vehicle’s horsepower) events throughout the year; however, the M.A.D. (Military Appreciation Day) Mayhem Dyno Event will be one of National Speed’s largest events of their 2010 calendar.

The event will feature free food, prizes and giveaways for all who attend and trophies for the highest and lowest horsepower vehicles across several performance categories.To further support our troops, The M.A.D. Mayhem Dyno Event will also feature Wilmington-locals band Machine Gun who will be performing throughout the day, and even more raffle and charity competitions and prizes.

National Speed has opened this event to anyone who wants to come out and help support our service men and women as well as the Wounded Warrior Project, which is dedicated to raising awareness and enlist public’s aid for the needs of the severely injured service men and women.
