“The NC Youth Jamboree is a unique event because it allows Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts to not only show what they have been working on throughout the year; but it gives them the opportunity to learn about other troops and organizations,”
The NC Youth Jamboree coincides with the 100th Anniversary of the BSA, offering a fun and informative way to celebrate the accomplishments of local troops and organizations. The Jamboree will feature military displays, challenge courses and continuous live music, to name a few of the exciting events taking place. The festivities will conclude with an arena show and youth celebration featuring special guests such as NC Agriculture Commissioner Steve Troxler.
The event will take place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to all youth in central North Carolina ages 6-18. Admission is free with the donation of two canned goods. For more information about the NC Youth Jamboree, please visit ncyouthjamboree.org.
