realized the enormous potential for free and high-quality classifieds in Germany. Classifieds, called Kleinanzeigen in German, are still relatively rarely posted online compared to the United States, UK or France. Hence the mission to snowball traffic and ranking rapidly.
The main objective of the mission is to massively boost organic traffic (i.e. visits generated from search engines). To accomplish this goal, Bluerank is working on optimization of the portal itself and providing offsite services that increase the popularity of markt.de and improve its ranking in search results. To improve pages’ indexing, the agency is working on optimal development of the website’s content and its HTML code.
The cooperation between Bluerank and markt.de started with the beginning of this year. After three months the first effects are visible. “Traffic from Google has increased by 65%,” says Jacek Tkaczuk, SEO Specialist at Bluerank.” And - what it is worth noting - these are the results for only those queries that do not relate directly to the brand.” Another important achievement is that the number of pages with classifieds indexed by Google has doubled and the figure is still growing. “We see enormous potential for further growth,” markt.de CEO Sang-Woo Pai concurs with Bluerank’s specialists. “We are getting further on our way to bring online classifieds into German households and small to medium businesses.”
