Providing the best possible care and treatment to cancer patients is a cause that Team24 strives to support both through its day to day business and its charitable activity. The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign runs a number of different appeals, however Tonya (sponsored by Team24), will be supporting the Hospital to Home (http://www.royalmarsden.org/
The Royal Marsden Cancer Campaign raises money to support The Royal Marsden NHS Trust with cancer research, treatment and care. Each year they provide 40,000 cancer patients with much needed facilities and treatment. The funds raised by the charity has paid for equipment and services like state-of-art operating theatres, the da Vinci S Surgical robot and The Royal Marsden’s new drug development centre.
Tonya wanted to use Team24’s commitment to providing excellent healthcare resources to both the NHS and the private sector as a platform to raise awareness and support for the local charity.
Robert Stiff, founder and managing director of Team24 comments on personally sponsoring Tonya and her marathon run:
“Team24 is committed to its community and charity initiatives. We currently sponsor three carers in the local community and have recently begun sponsoring a community nurse. I truly believe in the cause Tonya is running for and I am proud to be sponsoring her to help raise awareness for a very worthy charity.
