The Lobby Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton, Kuala Lumpur is introducing this timeless classic to complement its menu every Sunday, accompanied by the gentle rhythms of a three piece jazz band. The cookery is simple and classic – aged Black Angus prime rib, traditional Yorkshire pudding, stewed cabbage, roasted noisette and drizzled with bone marrow jus – yet it is guaranteed to satisfy the appetite and tantalise the taste buds.

However there is more - sit down at your table and you are literally surrounded by a stunning array of the finest foods from around the world; raclette and giant Swiss cheeses, whole salmons, delicately made sushi, tender sashimi and aromatic German sausage. Along the bar there is a beautiful spread of oysters, king prawns, stuffed loaves, terrines, frois gras and opposite you can make up your own salad with a range of ingredients, leaves and vinaigrettes. For dessert, take your pick from a variety of selections; choose from hundreds of multi-coloured macaroons or miniature strawberry tarts – as if brought from a French patisserie – or decadent tiramisu. Move over to the chocolate area where you will be confronted with amazing truffles and chocolates – hazelnut, praline, white, dark and more – all of which are being shadowed by a creamy melted chocolate fountain.
