Tea Party Tax Day Food Drive and Rally

April 12, 2010 - PRLog -- A Tax Day Food Drive and Sidewalk Rally will be held on Thursday, April 15, 2010 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in Woodland Hills, CA to protest the tax-and-spend policies of government at the local, state and federal levels.

The San Fernando Valley Patriots will use the parking lots of two closed restaurants just east of CoCo's Restaurant, 21844 Victory Blvd., Woodland Hills as a staging area for registration and to collect non-perishable dry goods (boxed meals, teas, crackers, cookies, cereals etc) from 5:30 to 6:15 p.m.

From 6:15 to 7:30 p.m., participants will walk to Warner Center Park at 5800 Topanga Canyon Blvd., Woodland Hills carrying posters, signs and flags along the sidewalk route to protest high taxes, debt-spending and Big Government policies.

Transportation will be provided for the frail or fatigued who cannot complete the 1.4-mile round-trip distance to the staging area.
