CommLab India Partners With e-Learning for Kids to Develop Free Online Courses in MS Office

April 12, 2010 - PRLog -- CommLab India, an e-learning solutions company since 2000, develops online courses on MS Office suite including MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook for e-Learning for Kids. These online courses are designed for kids aged five to 12 years of age.

The MS Office courses have been designed by adopting the Watch, Try, Do (WTD) approach, where the menu and screens are simulated to ensure that the kids can do it. These courses are highly interactive with several practice exercises. Through these courses, kids are encouraged to explore and learn MS Office in a fun way.

The MS Word course provides kids with basic knowledge like opening a Word document, saving one’s work, fixing spelling errors, changing spacing, formatting and much more.
The MS Excel course serves as a primer on an Excel spreadsheet and its importance in different workplaces. It teaches one how to create a workbook, enter and edit text and numbers, add rows or columns and so on.

The MS PowerPoint course enables kids in creating a presentation by using the features available in Microsoft PowerPoint 2007. Kids can learn the steps to create a slide show, from start to finish.
The MS Outlook course teaches kids to compose, send, read and organize e-mail messages using the features available in MS Outlook 2007. It is basically designed to familiarize kids with Outlook.
