Once foreclosure processes have begun, you may feel as if all is lost.

April 15, 2010 - PRLog -- However, this is not the end of the line. If a foreclosure lawsuit has been filed or is in process, you need to file a motion to dismiss this lawsuit so that you have more time to save your home. Of course, you should only do this if you are serious about working this situation out and need more time. This is a last-ditch effort to really keep your home.

Hector Milla Editor of the "Best Mortgage Loan Modification" website -- http://www.BestMortgageLoanModification.net -- pointed out;

Do It Now

“…Don't wait too long to file this dismissal. It is important to really take this bull by the horns. Make a plan and spring into action as soon as the foreclosure process has begun. Remember that you are literally fighting for your home. As soon as you file this motion, it is time to make a plan, talk to the bank, and really organize your finances so that you can actually keep your home rather than delay the foreclosure…”

Make a Plan

You can not sit on your butt while you want for this motion to go through. Instead, while this is being processed, it is time to make a plan. Call up all of your creditors and try and work out repayment plans so that your monthly expenses are lower and you may be able to keep up with mortgage payments. Try to consolidate some of your debts so that you can get bill collectors off your back and can lower these monthly bills, too. Every little bit counts.

Pick Up the Phone

Talk to your bank and explain your situation, what you have done to get out of debt, and what you have to offer them. Be as specific as possible with the lender about your plan for how to keep your home. If you show them you are serious, they may be more willing to work with you than they were before. This may mean that you need to bring in a variety of financial documents and may have to pick up a second job, too.

“…Saving your home may not be easy but it is possible if you file a motion to dismiss the foreclosure and really work hard to organize your finances. Show banks and creditors you are serious about getting your life back on track and they will be more likely to work with you…” added H. Milla.
