Bringing Worlds Together As One with Gladys Magazine's "Ladies We Love"

April 10, 2010 - PRLog -- Gladys Magazine (www.gladysmagazine.com) will be honoring several Florida women as “Ladies We Love” at their upcoming South Florida Launch Party on April 24th at Historic Trinity Cathedral in downtown Miami from 6-9 PM.  Chosen for their inspiration, style, grace & dignity, and for their commitment to family and community, these women will be showcased at the April 24th event entitled “EXTRAVAGANZA” produced by Manny Alonso Productions.  Stephanie Aagaard, Tessie Alvarez-Bravo, Lisa Marie Castro, Paula Fay, Dr. Stephanie Haridopolos, Lucy Morillo, Dr. Ana Marie Polo, Ana Remos, Jennifer Ruiz , Mariana Rodriguez & Elizabeth Vega have given of themselves to help others & now we honor them.  In addition to the show on April 24th, the “Ladies We Love” will also be showcased in the July issue of Gladys Magazine.
 
A premiere spectacle of Fashion, Jewels, Music & Dance, “EXTRAVAGANZA” will mark the first time ever a fashion event has been held inside a Cathedral and historic Trinity Cathedral (www.trinitymiami.org) is an amazing place to start.  Marko Figueroa & Efren Salinas of Telemundo’s “Perro Amor” will perform as will the New Century Dance Company.  Leading stars of Telemundo will also appear including Ana Lucia Dominguez,  Ximena Duque, Patricia de Leon, Maritza Rodriguez, & Mery de los Rios.  A reception and Chinese raffle will be held following the show.
 
All Ladies will be wearing designer gowns from Chic Parisien(www.chicparisienbridal.com) and Jewels by Jimmy Quiroga Designs (www.jimmyquiroga.com), our gentlemen will be wearing tuxedos by Manny’s Formalwear as they walk the runway for charity.  They will be joined by models from NY, LA, Chicago, Atlanta & South Florida.  The event will benefit Lauren’s Light, a local charity that helps families with young children in which a parent has been diagnosed with cancer.  Ben & Malvina Feinswog founded Lauren’s Light after the death of their daughter at age 33.  An emergency C-section at 6 months revealed Lauren had cancer that had spread.  Baby Matthew was born premature but miraculously healthy.   During her courageous struggle for her life, Lauren & her family discovered that while there were plenty of resources for the cancer patient, none targeted the unique needs of families with small children.  Lauren’s Light fills this void & helps these innocent victims of cancer.
 
Tickets for the event can be purchased at www.laurenslight.org and seats are limited.  Raffle tickets can be purchased online, attendance is not necessary to win.  Donations and/or Sponsorships are also available online.
