Boys & Girls Club of Venice holding 4th annual Celebrity Golf Tournament at Calabasas Country Club April 19th, hosted by KnockOuts For Girls. All proceeds will go to the Boys & Girls Club and a college scholarship on behalf of KnockOuts For Girls.

All money raised will go to the Boys & Girls Club and a college scholarship on behalf of KnockOuts For Girls



Venice, Calif. – The 4th Annual Boys & Girls Club of Venice Celebrity Golf Invitational hosted by KnockOuts For Girls will take place on Monday, April 19 at Calabasas Country Club.

The event features participation by over 20 local professional athletes and actors including Al Downing, Kenny Landreaux, Marcellus Wiley, JA Adande, Royce Clayton, Rasual Butler, Kelly Perine & Paul Logan


Sponsorship commitments to date include, Coca-Cola, Playa Vista, Whole Foods, Stephen N. Smith, Swimmer Development, What Odor?, Harrah’s, Long Beach BMW, Air Tran, JetBlue Airways, and Union Bank, Chrome Vodka, Pop Chips, Two Part Sugar, The Golf Academy, Marina Plastic Surgery  



All proceeds from the tournament will benefit the Boys & Girls Club of Venice & the KnockOuts For Girls Scholarship Fund.

“We are excited to bring together the business community in support of the Club,” said club board member, Stephen N. Smith. “It is a wonderful event featuring a great day of golf, food, fun, and an opportunity to meet some of the club members.”  KnockOuts For Girls President Pattianna agreed: "Join us for a unique, exciting and entertaining golf tournament with our KnockOuts at the holes providing drinks & refreshments, games, contests & fun all while raising money to help underprivileged children."

KnockOuts For Girls (KO4G) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that uses the discipline of boxing to build self-esteem, promote physical fitness, and empower girls & women, while helping those facing challenges.  They have chapters throughout southern California and are expanding rapidly, including a new chapter in Phoenix, AZ.  Through female boxing events and other fundraisers, they support the  many programs they offer, including granting college scholarships, a Mentorship Program and a GIVE BACK Program in which each month they give back to their communities via clothing drives, toy drives, teaching boxing lessons to children, the homeless, senior citizens, women who have been in abusive relationships, blind people, those with Down syndrome, and many other ways.
