Rollerbladers for Charity Receive Tremendous Support in Phoenix

PRLog (Press Release) - Apr. 9, 2010 - PHOENIX, Arizona – A pair of rollerbladers who are participants in a project called "In Motion For A  Million" are currently in Phoenix, AZ, as part of a national fundraising campaign.  The athletes are rollerblading across the USA with a goal to raise one million dollars for the Huntington's Disease Society of America as well as the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.  To help the team raise donations, generous local sponsors are holding separate fundraisers today and tomorrow.  Today's fundraiser is at 11:00am at Encanto Park at 15th Avenue and Thomas Rd., Phoenix.  Saturday's fundraiser will be held at a Hilton hotel: details are still being firmed up.

The In Motion For A Million team will be in the Phoenix area until April 12, 2010.  The remaining tour through Arizona will lead the athletes through Glendale, Peoria, Surprise, Wittmann, Morristown, Wickenberg, Aguila, Wenden, Salome, Harcuvar, Hope, Brenda, Quartzsite and Ehrenberg.
