China Tourism Academy released a survey of national tourist satisfaction of the first quarter of 2010 on April 7, which published 50 China cities’ ranks based on the tourist satisfaction. The top 10 are mainly eastern cities.
According to the survey of China Tourism Academy, the top 10 cities with much tourist satisfaction in the first quarter of 2010 rank as following: Shenyang http://www.chinatouronline.com/
"The 50 cities have distinct local features in the tourist satisfaction. Among them, some eastern cities like Shenyang, Shanghai, Xiamen, Yinchuan and Hohhot rose large while some central cities ranked low and need to improve their tourism services, especially for individual travelers. In fact, many central cities have rich tourist resources, but without good tourism services. They should provide services to other tourists, especially the individual ones as considerate as those to the locals, and promote the service quality of the whole city,” said Dai Bin, vice director of China Tourism Academy. It is reported that the tourist satisfaction indexes of the 50 cities were formed by weighting and fitting the city survey data, complaint and quality monitoring data and network evaluation data.
