(Los Angeles)– Tonight, Backstage Artist Lounge’s Christina Martin, Sarah Paget and Katie Wade roll up to Revolver’s Golden God Awards in a 35 foot branded vehicle for Firefly Vodka, favorite vodka of the Backstage Artist Lounge Tour. Also catching a ride with Firefly and BAL girls will be guitarist Robb Torres (Trapt) and guitarist Nick Maybury (Mink, Perry Farrell). Airing May 22nd on VH1 Classic, Revolver’s Golden God Awards are hosted by Chris Jericho, honoring hard rock and heavy metal with appearances by Rob Zombie, Slash, As I Lay Dying, Motorhead and Fear Factory.
The very next day, BAL opens their newly painted pink offices. Located with Cardboard Robot Clothing, BAL offices will be homebase to several senior BAL producers—when they are not on tour—and serve as BAL’s showroom for sponsors, bands and press.
Immediately following this, the 2010 Backstage Artist Lounge Tour kicks off on board VH1’s Best Cruise Ever April 15th-19th (Tampa, FL/Grand Cayman) with 3 Doors Down, Shinedown, Lifehouse, Black Stone Cherry and Finger Eleven; Rockfest April 24th with Alice In Chains, Limp Bizkit, Puddle of Mudd, Sevendust and Hell Yeah!; Kid Rock’s Chillin’ The Most Cruise April 29th-May 3rd (Tampa, FL/Grand Cayman) with Kid Rock, Uncle Kracker and Rehab.
Every BAL tour date benefits charities including Musicians On Call, The Windwood Farms Boys Home (per Firefly Vodka), Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, Covenant House of California and more. The 2010 Backstage Artist Lounge Tour continues throughout North America for the remainder of 2010, making a positive impact on music and society from backstage.
