CHICK Celebrates Their First Season With a Cyber Party

PRLog (Press Release) - Apr. 8, 2010 - CHICK, the award winning independent web series, is wrapping up its first season of 20 episodes with a cyber party for its fans and supporters.

Embracing the vast interactive potential of the Web, the live event, sponsored by Acornhost, allows fans of CHICK to come together via web cam and a chat room.

“Our goal with CHICK is to offer a social entertainment experience.” said Kai Soremekun, the creator and star of the web series.  “Now the audience has options; they can choose to be a passive viewer of the show or they can experience the CHICK universe on a more personal level.  Through live and immersive multimedia environments, the audience can engage with the cast, crew and actual characters of CHICK.”

During the CHICK cyber party fans will have the opportunity to participate in an intimate Q&A with the producers and cast.  All who attend will also have the chance to win fun giveaways including groovy CHICK swag and prizes from thehealingsoundofmusic.com and GirlPROPS.com.

Conceived by Kai Soremekun, an award winning director/producer, CHICK is a comic drama that uses the superhero as a metaphor for exploring human potential.

The series follows the adventures of Lisa, a young woman convinced it is her destiny to become a superhero.  The first season watches Lisa set out on a quest to find a Secret Academy, hidden somewhere in Los Angeles, where regular people can train to become superheroes.
