Famed artist Nancy Rankin is proud to announce the launch of her new webiste showcasing her original paintings.  Imagine - paintings available only in galleries can now be purchased online.

From a family where all the siblings are artists, Nancy Rankin creates her art from her involvement with nature.  Objects, rocks or flowers are enjoyed individually or as an intricate part of their surroundings.  "I am so excited to showcase my work to a larger audience via the internet.  Previously, I had limited my work to galleries and art shows."  

Nancy's paintings invite the viewer to join her on walks of exploration.  "Continued study and acceptance of new challenges are essential for an artist's growth," states Nancy.  She uses watercolor as both a transparent medium and in combination with acrylic, gouache or collage in an impressionistic, experimental approach.  Intricate detail is integrated with the spontaneous freedom to present her personal interpretation of her surroundings.
