The Indoor Air Quality Association was established in 1995 to promote uniform standards, procedures and protocols in the Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) industry. The association, a non-profit 501(c)(6) organization is made up of a diverse range of professions and trades including Environmental Consultants, HVAC Practitioners, Design Engineers, Restorers and Remediators, Industrial Hygienists, Building & Facilities Managers, Attorneys, Manufacturers Reps and many others in related fields.
The IAQA has a number of committees made up of members volunteering their time and efforts to help the industry. Some current IAQA committees include: Education, Government Affairs, Research, Annual Meeting, Membership, Marketing and Bylaws.
Paul Cochrane, whom many industry professionals know from his many years as Vice President of Business Development for Aerotech Laboratories and his current position as President of Cochrane & Associates, was recently named an official member of IAQA’s Marketing Committee.
Since opening Cochrane & Associates over 4 years ago as the environmental and indoor air quality industries’ only dedicated marketing, public relations and business development consulting firm, he has been working with environmental trade associations and member companies that belong to the industry.
