Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Southern Florida Wishmaker’s Ball Celebrity Dancers Announced

Dances from classic films, from 'Scent of a Woman' to 'Chicago,' will be performed by local celebrities at the Make-A-Wish Foundation's Wishmaker's Ball.

April 7, 2010 - PRLog -- Local celebrities are taking to the dance floor to be a part of the Make-A-Wish Foundation’s upcoming Wishmaker’s Ball on Saturday, May 15, 2010. The “Dancing with the Stars” event will be held at Hyatt Regency Coconut Point in Bonita Springs, FL at 6:00 P.M. with all proceeds to benefit the Make-A-Wish Foundation® of Southern Florida.

Southwest Florida’s very own stars will be performing famous dance moments from classic films, from ‘Scent of a Woman’ to ‘Chicago.’ Among these celebrities are: Pam Beckman, owner Bon Soirre; Cat Foster, Marketing Consultant at WINK-TV; Steve Luongo, drummer, producer, songwriter, visual artist and Director of the John Entwistle Foundation; Angela Schivinski, Director of Business Development for the Greater Fort Myers Chamber; Amy Sedlacek, Morning Anchor at WFTX-TV Fox 4 News; David Shestokas, Attorney at Shestokas, Raines & Malavia; Kendra Sutton, Marketing Consultant at WINK-TV; and Judith Yevick, West Coast Operations Manager of Make-A-Wish Foundation of Southern Florida.

The Ball will feature cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, a delicious dinner, and both silent and live auctions, offering up a variety of sought-after items, experiences, and packages.

The Fort Myers Fred Astaire Dance Studio is assisting with this event. The studio was ranked number 2 in the nation at the 2009 National Dance Championship in Orlando, Florida.

The public is invited and urged to reserve tickets early for this whimsical and charitable event.  Individual tickets are $175 and tables of 10 are $1,600.
