Zürich. sonic emotion today announced that a range of audio devices containing their innovative 3D sound technologies will be presented by leading manufacturers at Hong Kong Spring Electronics Fair.
“Since the launch of our 3D sound chip late last year, we’ve had an unbelievable amount of interest in 3D sound from manufacturers in Asia,” said Andy Macaluso, sonic emotion VP Sales and Marketing. “A number of manufacturers have already integrated the technology in sample products, such as IP radios, docking stations and soundbars, and will use the exhibition as a platform to demonstrate to their customers (brands).”
sonic emotion will also demonstrate their latest 3D sound technologies at the exhibition. “We have a lot of meetings and demos planned with many more interested brands and manufacturers during the fair and expect to gain a lot of new business from the show,” said Macaluso.
An advantage of sonic emotion sound technology is its ability to enable a huge 3D sound effect from a small device. “The trend for home entertainment and audio devices is to be small and compact. Until now, manufacturers have struggled to find a sound solution that can really perform with these small devices,” said Macaluso.
3D sound technology is also the only consumer audio solution capable of converting stereo content into 3D sound. “It allows consumers to experience MP3/stereo inputs in real 3D sound, and, as 95 per cent of TV content is still stereo, with a 3D-audio soundbar consumers can hear all TV shows and sports in 3D – this is not possible with any other soundbar,” said Macaluso.
