Former Syracuse Orange standout Josh Pace has claimed the ABA MVP Award for the 2009-2010 season. Pace received the award while playing for the South East Texas Mavericks of the ABA.
This was the second MVP Award Pace has received, the first coming during his stint overseas in New Zealand in 2007.
Pace, who is averaged 18 points and 4 rebounds per game this past season for the Mavericks is also won a ABA Championship while with the Mavericks. It's his fourth championship as a pro and college player that includes former teams in Estonia, New Zealand and at the University of Syracuse.
At the conclusion of the season with the Mavericks, Pace reported overseas to New Zealand to play for the LPG Bay Hawks who’s season will run until the end of June. Pace is represented by Dynasty Sports Management (www.dsm-international.com)
