Tech GLobal 46" Touch Screen
March 24, 2010 – Tech Global announced today that they have been awarded the “Best of FOSE” award for AV/Surveillance for their 46” NEC display with interactive touch technology. The award, from Government Computer News (GCN), recognizes the most innovative IT companies and their contributions to the industry at FOSE.
FOSE, the most respected and comprehensive event for the government sector is an annual event that brings together the best of IT and members of various government agencies to see the latest advances in technology, attend educational sessions and network.
GCN’s “Best of FOSE” awards are awarded annually at this event to recognize the latest and innovative products for government buyers and are selected by GCN technology analysts based on innovation, usability, applicability to government, relative performance based on specifications and value.
Out of a field of over 100 exhibitors, Tech Global’s 46” NEC display with interactive touch technology was selected based on the above factors as well as the versatility of the product. Tech Global’s young history includes an approach to touch technology focused on using cutting-edge touch screens integrated in the OEM displays of the most respected and industry leading display manufacturers such as LG, NEC, and Samsung.
The Tech Global booth attracted many visitors because of the emergence of touch technology in everyday life. Wanting to educate the government sector on the advantages of touch and the many applications it can be used for, Jim Rocheford, president of Tech Global was on hand at the booth to demonstrate the products. “Touch screens are the fastest, easiest, direct and natural technology for Mission Critical and Command and Control Applications.
