Kamloops, BC – The fitness focused city of Kamloops, BC is receiving a new twist on exercising with a program that uses physically demanding exercise and the soothing health and wellness benenfits of yoga.
Starting up May 3rd, yoga instructor Katrina Ariel is going to be coaching women of all shapes and capabilities in what has been defined as an empowering approach to ideal fitness.
This distinctive boot camp course increases the choices for women who live in Kamloops to get encouraged and get fit for the hot summer months of shorts and bathing suits, and assures an approach that balances the high challenge that the majority of boot camps use to obtain results with the many advantages of yoga.
Trainer Katrina Ariel states she was inspired by the fast improvements and energy boost she got from taking part in a boot camp while working down in the city of New Orleans, and was inspired to come up with her own variation of the well-liked program. "I think everyone enjoys working out a lot more when it's fun and feels good, and I find the sequence of building strength through fitness exercises and then immediately doing a yoga practice brings out the benefits of both that much more, said Katrina.
When the program starts in May it will run from Let’s Move Studio, which is up near Thompson Rivers University, and commands a gorgous view of the valley of Kamloops. It’s a good thing too, because the camp meets at the early hour of 5:30 in the morning, so the view will offer participants something special to anticipate.
“It's a very early class,” Katrina agrees, “but what makes it so great is that by the time you're done at 6:30 you get this amazing sense of accomplishment knowing you’ve already gotten in an incredible workout, and so many other people haven't even rolled out of bed.” She also points out that exercising first thing in the morning is the best way to improve your metabolism.
The exercises themselves combine a wide range of fitness exercises and yoga poses. Participating women will have part of each class outside in the refreshing morning air, and conclude with the yoga portion in the comfort and calming environment of the studio. Showers shall be accessible for participants to clean the sweat off after the challenging class, giving a new definition to the idea of having a fresh, clean start to the day.
