Wishcraft has introduced a new program that gives the Girl Scout badge a run for its money. Participants in the Pals of Wishcraft of program, also known an POW, earn colorful stickers for each new class, workshop, camp and event. Each sticker represents classes that teach new skills such as sewing, knitting, crochet, and, a Wishcraft specialty, eco-crafting. There are stickers for boys as well, representing classes such as Jack Be Nimble and Super-Hero Handiwork. Membership in the POW club is free to all.
The workshop is located at 2312 W. Roscoe St. 1.5 blocks east of Western Ave. For additional information about Wishcraft classes, parties and camps, contact 773-348-WISH (9474) or visit www.wishcraftworkshop.com.
