Blessed Sacrament School is competing this month for a grant from the Pepsi Refresh program to fund the construction of bleachers for the new gymnasium. The new gymnasium is part of a larger school building project started on March 19th. Beginning April 1, supporters can vote for the “Build Bleachers for Bruins” project by logging in to the Pepsi Refresh website at http://www.refresheverything.com/
Blessed Sacrament is competing under Education at the $25,000 level, which will offset a portion of the $40,000 cost of the school's first set of bleachers. Anyone 13 years of age or older can vote each day during the month of April. Blessed Sacrament School must be one of the top ten finishers to secure the grant.
The Pepsi Refresh Project will be awarding $1.3 million each month to fund ideas in six categories throughout 2010 to groups throughout the country, and hopefully Blessed Sacrament School will be one of them.
