On October 25, 2010 Renters, Condo and Homeowners and Businesses alike throughout Toronto with its many diverse multicultural communities, such as in North York’s Avondale, Willowdale, Newtonbrook and Lansing to name only a few, have a decision to make this coming fall.
Toronto residents throughout the city in all communities will have the choice between out of control spending, borrowing and taxing at twice the rate of inflation on an annual basis since 2003 by re-electing a 13 year incumbent councillor OR ELECTING Peter CLARKE and other non career politicians that have clearly defined campaign mission platforms which are based on the peoples common sense for affordable and sustainable core services for the community and our great city of Toronto.
“ I, Peter CLARKE am an INDEPENDENT NOT a CAREER Politician or supporter of any political party, special interest groups or lobbyists. Just your average citizen candidate for council and once elected answerable only to the people NOT a political party, special interest group or lobbyist.”
Since amalgamation councillors approved budgeted spending has increased 64.28% and the capital budget has increased a whopping 300% in 13 year.
The clear result being that councillors spending on non-priority items and expenditures have increased taxes on average at TWICE the ANNUAL RATE of INFLATION.
These failed budgeting policies of borrow, spend, tax and always grasping for more taxing powers and hand outs from the province of our outgoing mayor supported by the majority of incumbent councillors over the past 13 years or longer have proven to be fiscally irresponsible. Time for Meaningful Change within the Community and at City Hall by the people.
Tell me Toronto Renters, Condo and Homeowners and Business people has your income increased 64.28% or even increased annually by twice the rate of inflation since 2003?
TORONTO is OUR CITY, YOUR VOTE, OUR FUTURE TOGETHER. So VOTE, Do It on October 25, 2010, You Will Like It,
