What do these things have in common... Paycheck and Irish Pipes?

April 6, 2010 - PRLog -- The famous country music duet from Nashville, TN, "CASHnCHECKS", are over on the green isle, bringing their music to the many waiting fans of country music throughout Ireland and the UK. We caught up with James Paycheck after arriving in Belfast and then taking the one hour ride to their home base in Londonderry, and he told us that the flight over from the US was uneventful and relatively painless. Paycheck also explained how he is in Ireland primarily seeking some new and different country music pickers for the new face of C&C. He has a sound in his head that is very different from any other form of country music, and that sound can be found especially on the Emerald Isle. Not that it will sound very different from normal traditional country music altogether, but that there will be a noticeable difference that James hopes will tickle the ear of the listener pursuading them to want more.
Derry (Londonderry) is the 4th largest city in Ireland. It sits on both sides of the river Foyle, which empties into the North Atlantic. Derry is a very ancient town that dates back far enough to make any historians mouth water. Waterside is on the east side of the Foyle and that is where the Paycheck flat is situated, on Bonds Street.
Paycheck has been planning this trip to Ireland for quite some time, combining efforts with the likes of the "Irish Cowboy", Keith Wright, plus his long time buddy and famous promoter, Gary Bradshaw, from WHP (Western Heart Promotions) at 4557 West Bloomfield Road,

Michelle Smith has also been instrumental in this latest C&C project. A major project like this involves many people and each and every person has a job to do and a position to fill. Success is arrived at by combining the talents and skills of the best at what they do, with everyone on the same page with the same goals in mind.
The Irish Cowboy is a disc spinner at one of Derry's most prestigious radio stations, "Drive 105.3FM". Some have refered to Keith as the hardest working man in country music, but he says, its for the love of real country music that drives him on.
The hit single Country Girl, reached position #6 on the NMW (New Music Weekly) country music main charts. Having a song place in the top 10 is quite a feat, especially in todays market, where the competition is very tight and the big deep pocketed record labels pull out all the stops when promoting their artists. Being an independant label and artist that places ahead of such acts as Jackson, Chesney, Urban and Underwood is a accomplishment that James appreciates immensely. "Getting a song to chart and chart well is the result of the efforts of many people, especially my old time buddy Gary Bradshaw", says Paycheck. Now there is some buzz that CASHnCHECKS may see another of their hit singles make a mark on the NMW country music charts very soon!
While in Ireland, James wants to do some recording also. Wether he will record an entire album or just a couple of the songs he has been carrying around in his suitcase, is left to be seen. Everyone is very excited to hear just what surprises James has up his sleeve, for this next collection of music.
"In these times that have plagued the country music business with so many untrustworthy criminal elements, crooked record producers and scam artists galore... It simply made sense for me to ask long time buddy and fellow entertainer, JT Reno, to join me in the UK to help put together this new sound", said James. In needing help to put together a show of this caliber and magnitude, James is quoted saying, "JT is a man that knows what needs to be done and his integrity is unequaled". Together, the two have been canvassing the pubs and bars in and around Derry, listening and learning the styles and talent that is in abundance in the area. While putting together the players for the new C&C, the Nashville/Tucson natives will be performing several small shows in some of the local taverns and pubs. It is not surprising to see Paycheck slip into a local watering hole and sing a song or two for the patrons. Born to entertain and raised to do it well!
Investors are lining up and the phone is ringing steady with offers of asistance in this marvelous collaborative project.
Bradshaw at WHP has been entertaining the idea of a multi-talent big name tour schedule that will include such names as Williams, Pride, Jones, Twitty, Haggard, Paycheck and more. By putting together the minds and resources of an international group of professionals, a show of this type will be nothing less than history in the making and not something one wants to miss.
