Turk Rummy is different from other rummy variants like gin rummy and rummikub in the following ways:

1. The player needs to have a complete hand with just one card to spare, to lay off. This rule requires the player to pay much more attention to his cards discarded and picked up by his or her opponents. This is because a player only lays down his cards once his entire hand is built.

2. There are number of winning condition like Seven pairs in which a player wins after laying 7 pairs of cards similar cards, i.e. two of Red 9, two of 5 blue etc. Wildcard Knocker is another special victory in which the player wins by knocking through a wildcard. This kind of victory fetches double points to the player.
