LA-Based Reality TV Publicist Charlie Barrett To MIP TV, Cannes, April 13, 14 and 15th

April 5, 2010 - PRLog -- Hollywood, CA  -  Veteran reality TV publicist Charlie Barrett  of The Barrett Company (www. thebarrettcom.co)  in Los Angeles will go  to Cannes, France  to attend MIP TV, April 13-15th, one of the global television industry's premiere gatherings of executives, program suppliers, producers and TV stars.  Mr Barrett wil be at MIP TV for meetings with  BBC,  National Geographic Television, Endemol and others.

Mr Barrett, who formerly served with NBC  Entertainment in Los Angeles as the publicist for TONIGHT SHOW, created and implemented the publicity launch for the network's  1980s  seminal reality TV hit series "Unsolved Mysteries" and most recently has been associated with CBS' " The Amazing Race," among other shows such as  Bravo's "Millionaire Matchmaker".

"Reality television has carved a special and timeless niche for itself among global television viewers with its  edgy players and stories. The genre is always evolving and changing...and that it's core appeal," remarked Mr Barrett.
