Brad Mercer Teams With Act 2 Entertainment For New Tv Show!

April 2, 2010 - PRLog -- Palm Desert, CA - Act 2 Entertainment, LLC is pleased to announce the television premiere of a brand new local television show called "Brad TV." Hosted by Brad Mercer of local radio fame, the show is taped in front of a live audience from The Fantasy Springs Resort Casino 'Rock Yard.'

"Brad TV" is a half-hour rock and roll variety program showcasing local and regional talent, including musicians, songwriters, comedians, and interviews with rock 'n' roll celebrities. You never know what rock star will stop by the show and jam with Brad and his band, The Acquitted. Brad TV will also feature specialty segments such as "Behind the Fantasy," offering a look at what goes on behind the scenes at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, a popular resort in the Coachella Valley.

The mission of Brad TV is simple; to provide local/regional musicians and bands the opportunity to be seen and heard on television within the Coachella Valley, and to send their music and videos worldwide via a newly launched website, www.bradtv.tv opening on April 5. The Brad TV pilot premieres on Friday, April 30 at 12:00 midnight on Fox channel 11, with an encore presentation airing the following Sunday, May 2 at 4:00pm on KESQ Channel 3.

Three subsequent episodes are set to air each consecutive weekend; May 7th & 9th, May 14th & 16th and May 21st & 23rd, at the same times and TV channels as the pilot.

The taping sessions all take place at the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino. April 25th, the show kicks off at 6 pm; doors open at 5:30 pm, inside the Rock Yard Indoor Fantasy lounge. May 2nd, the fun continues at the Rock Yard Indoors in the Fantasy Lounge at 6 pm, doors open at 5:30 pm. The grand finale will be recorded May 9th from the Rock Yard outdoor concert stage starting at 7:30 pm. The special musical guest on the show that night will be Mickey Thomas from Starship. Mickey and Starship will also be performing a free show Saturday, May 8th at 9 pm in the Rock Yard outdoor concert stage.  

The host location, Fantasy Springs Resort Casino, provides an oasis in the desert, featuring 2,000 of the hottest slots, world-class table games, entertainment, hotel, dining and golf at Eagle Falls. Fantasy Springs is conveniently located off Interstate 10 at Golf Center Drive in Indio. Fantasy Springs is a privately operated business of the Cabazon Band of Mission Indians.
