14th Annual Golf Classic
Michigan From the Heart recently announced a new golf website to help promote their main source of acquiring funds, their annual charity golf outing. This much anticipated event raises funds for their yearly mission of uniting University of Michigan student-athletes with young patients at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI.
Through donations and various fundraisers, Michigan From the Heart has been able to help ease the pain of the young patients and their families. Michigan From the Heart supports the family and children throughout their stay at C.S. Mott Children’s Hospital. Lasting friendships are often formed because of this one-on-one contact.

This year’s event marks the 14th Annual Charity Golf Classic. The venue for this year’s event has been changed from The Polo Fields to the University of Michigan Golf Course. This golf course is one of the best golf courses in the state and one of the toughest tee-times to acquire.
The Co-chairs for this year’s golf outing are University of Michigan basketball standout Jimmy King from the “Fab 5” fame, and Anthony Thomas, University of Michigan 2nd all-time leading rusher. Many former UM athletes have made commitments to attend the golf outing on Sunday, June 6th, 2010. Make your plans early, as this event sells out quickly.
