Announces new challenge to the census
Berks Tea Party Chair, John Stahl is to be on the Comedy Central Network show, The Daily Show with John Stewart tonight at 11:00 PM. edt
“I guess ‘fools rush in where wise men fear to tread’”, mused Stahl. “Many of my friends told me not to go on this liberally biased show. Ultimately, I trust that it will be God’s will. I am certain that they will attempt to smear the movement and me personally. However, it is my hope that those who listen to this might hear the truth for a change. I believe that truth can’t be totally tarnished by liberal negativism. Oh yes, they may try; but, in the context of that negativism, there will be at least one person who tells the whole story.”
The format for the show is comedienne/”correspondent”
‘It was very interesting. Here you have the chair of the Libertarian Party with whom we mostly agree and a gentleman who wants to count all Arabs, legal and illegal so that they can get their “fair share” of the money. Joining us was Fausto, who, at one time was an illegal, was there to get illegals to boycott the census because he wanted to show Obama that illegals were displeased with him because he has failed to get citizenship rights for illegals!”, Stahl observed. “Then he had the gall to suggest that it was wrong because the illegal population couldn’t get any money to go to college at our expense!” said an annoyed Stahl.
“They had us there for over 2 hours for a 5 minute segment. I am sure that much of what we said will be end up on the cutting room floor.” worried Stahl. “I wanted to use this forum to announce a new challenge to the census.” Stahl announced the following statement:
“In this census, the govenment will not be asking whether the respondent is a citizen. This is the problem: according to the state department, there are about 28 million documented aliens. Further, according to www.immigrationcounters.com there are about 22 million illegal aliens. This represents up to 20% of our population!
It would appear that aliens, documented or not, tend to flock to the cities and the suburbs nearby. This will create severe distortions to the House of Representatives, all state legislatures, cities, and, perhaps more importantly, the Electoral College.
Imagine that there are several areas that are 60 to 70% alien. Currently, House districts contain roughly 700,000 citizens. Now, taking those districts containing 70% aliens, that would leave about 280,000 citizens. Those citizens would still get one congressman. 3 such districts would vote for 3. They would have about 700,000 citizens. A similar district in central Penna, up state New York or rural South Dakota would only get one congressman. And it doesn’t matter whether these aliens get to vote. It is a bad outcome because we are not asking whether someone is a citizen.
Because of the location of the aliens, leftists get up to 50 or 60 new house members.
Because of this, the next President could win "super states" and lose the general election by 5,000,000 votes!
As you know, the Supreme Court ruled on one man one vote (The principle that all citizens, regardless of where they reside in a state, are entitled to equal legislative representation.
This principle was enunciated by the Supreme Court in reynolds v. sims, 377 U.S. 533, 84 S. Ct. 1362, 12 L. Ed. 2d 506 (1964). The Court ruled that a state's Apportionment plan for seats in both houses of a bicameral state legislature must allocate seats on a population basis so that the voting power of each voter be as equal as possible to that of any other voter.)
Because this census does not ask the question on citizenship, how can we have one man one vote? Correcting this is a constitutional nightmare.”
“Finding a way to stop this is a constitutional mine field. Who has the standing to legally challenge this? I have received many opinions with no satisfactory result. I hope to conclude my research on this end of it shortly. I have asked Judge Napolitano, the Center for Law and Justice, other groups like Tea Party Patriots to look into how to stop this census legally. However it turns out, this is a major, major problem with no easy solution” added Stahl. Our voting rights are our only true guarantee of our liberty. If you give one group more power illegally over another group, you may get a very bad result. I am absolutely certain that we will not stand by and let this happen. We must prevail; I hate to think what may happen if our votes are, in effect, stolen from us.” asserted Stahl.
