The Modern Electronic Bidet

Instead of toilet paper, bidets use a stream of water to clean you after using the restroom. And while using a bidet is very much the norm in other parts of the world, it’s been slow to catch on in the United States and Canada. Trying to duplicate product popularity from one country to another country is often difficult, if not impossible. But the bidet has a record of being accepted internationally. It originated in Europe, and then moved on to the Middle East. Then it swept thru South America, and also found its way over to Asia – sometimes referred to as a Japanese toilet or washlet.
“The bidet is not a cultural phenomenon isolated in one country or region. It is the preferred method of cleaning in many countries, across several continents throughout the world,” said Mr. Lee. “This demonstrates that it doesn’t matter if you’re French, Egyptian, Chinese or American. We all have the same body parts, and we were all meant to use water to clean ourselves."
