A meeting of minds: FDC takes on new website project for Conference Solutions

Europe-wide event organiser Conference Solutions has just signed up with FDC for a new website, taking it to a new phase in its history.

April 1, 2010 - PRLog -- After 20 years, current MD Maggie Dalton is preparing to hand over the Birmingham-based business to her daughter, Amy Jo, and needs an on-line presence that will echo the company’s trademark high-energy, all-budgets ethos.
Once the website is complete, it is hoped that FDC will look at other projects within the company.
Maggie said: “FDC was instantly responsive and talked a language I understood. Very quickly, Gregg interpreted what I needed and sent information to me straight away.
“The other companies I spoke to did not seem as interested in me or my business. I felt I'd probably finish up on a conveyor belt of the same old "ideas". FDC has also offered a good level of support INCLUDED in the cost they have quoted, unlike some of their competitors.
“Other companies were only willing to offer 5 minutes free, and from then, any questions I asked would be costing me money - and a lot of it! I have been burned before by companies who have produced something for me at an agreed cost, then wanted to charge literally hundreds of pounds to explain its functionality, or change the smallest of things.
“So far, FDC have delivered what they say they will - BIG agency ideas without the BIG price tag. The team are approachable, interested and informative.
FDC sales executive Gregg Randall, who got Conference Solutions on board, said: “Straight away, it was evident that Conference Solutions is an ambitious, forward-thinking company. What they lacked was direction and the knack of continually attracting clients. Together, we’ve come up with a clear plan well within budget which should see their business to the next level.”
